Baseline
This page defines the lifecycle status of supported KaiOS versions. It provides visibility into active support status, and planned End-of-Life (EOL) timelines.
The purpose of this tracking is to ensure product compliance, security posture alignment, and upgrade planning across all deployed devices. Versions listed as “Active” receive full maintenance and security updates. Versions in “Limited” may receive assistance upon request, subject to evaluation of feasibility and impact.

KaiOS provides different baselines for different chipsets. OEM/ODMs need to sign OEM license agreement with KaiOS directly to get details and related release including secure patches.
KaiOS supports secure boot, MAC (SELinux) framework in all baselines. Application is running in different processes and has memory isolation between each other.
KaiOS supports NFC and SE in KaiOS V2.6.
